Escape – Ways into intoxication, ways out

In cooperation with Gloria Kino and the Municipal Addiction Officer of the City of Heidelberg, we cordially invite you to the film series “Escape – Ways into Intoxication, Ways Out.”

The cinema series is dedicated to the topic of addiction in all its facets in three impressive film evenings.

On October 20, 22 BAHNEN opens the series – a sensitive drama about a young swimmer who is searching for stability between the pressure to perform and caring for her alcoholic mother.

This will be followed on December 8 by KNEECAP, an energetic portrayal of an Irish rap crew based on a true story, who turn their anger, intoxication, and language into rebellion.

The series concludes on January 19 with THE OUTRUN, a moving story about return, healing, and the difficult path out of alcohol addiction. The series shows how addiction can arise in different ways—and that every fall also offers the chance for a new beginning.

Further information can be found on the Gloria Kino website!
