Who we are
Univital is the health management organization of Heidelberg University. Founded in 2018, we pursue the goal of establishing sustainable, scientifically based health promotion for all members of the university - both during studies and in everyday working life.
What we do
We develop and offer holistic programs for mental and physical health - practical, needs-oriented and tailored to the diverse realities of life on campus.
In close cooperation with university institutions and stakeholders such as UNIFY, Human Resources Development, the Central Student Advisory Service and the Studierendenwerk, we develop measures that provide direct support in everyday university life and have a long-term effect.
Our network
Univital is part of the nationwide working group Gesundheitsfördernde Hochschule (AGH), which deals with the structural framework conditions for health promotion and prevention at universities.
Our project manager Dr. Mona Kellner is also involved in the steering committee of the Gesundheitsfördernde Hochschule Süd-West (GHSW) network. There, she contributes her expertise to promote exchange between health stakeholders in the region and pass on practical knowledge.
